Authentication Using JWT
The dotCMS "Remember me" feature enables users who log in to the dotCMS backend to be automatically re-authenticated for a period of time (eliminating the need for repeated logins within a specified time limit).
Under the covers, the remember me feature uses a long lived cookie - rMe that stores a JSON Web Tokens (JWT) to remember the user and manage the authentication process.
Note: The remember me feature only works with native dotCMS logins.
Remember me settings#
The following configuration properties control the standard behavior of the remember me feature:
